Matthew is a Managing Consultant.
He holds a first-class BA in French Studies, an MA in Translation and is currently studying in his spare time for an MSc in Environment & Sustainability.
Matthew joined Kidd Aitken in 2019 after several years at Chambers and Partners, where he analysed hundreds of submissions from leading law firms around the world. Having worked as a Senior Research Analyst and later as an Assistant Editor on the Chambers Global guide, he has researched and overseen various Global-wide and Africa-wide sections, as well as focusing on African countries such as Kenya, South Africa, DRC and other francophone jurisdictions. He also conducted research for Chambers USA and Chambers Canada.
Prior to entering the legal directories sphere, Matthew worked as a translator and editor, translating academic books and journal articles, commercial marketing materials and travel writing from French to English. He draws on his linguistic expertise and editing experience to assist leading regional and international law firms with their directory submissions.
