Gary Manning – Consultant
Gary Manning is a marketing, communications and business development consultant.
He has over 30 years’ experience in a number of senior roles in the professional services sector. Gary was the marketing and business development director for 10 years at a boutique international law firm in London.
He has also held senior positions at consultancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and leading City law firms Freshfields and Stephenson Harwood, where he managed substantial teams.
Gary specialises in law firm branding, focusing on the key elements of client communication, reputation management and thought leadership. He works with law firms, using a variety of different content management and media distribution tools. He develops and pushes key messages to achieve a strong brand profile and market positioning that helps drive business development and increase revenue.
He also has a great deal of experience working with law firms in producing strategic business development plans, and working closely with individual lawyers and practice groups on practical business development activities, including research and analysis of target markets, writing proposals, managing complex pitches, and implementing effective client relationship management programmes.
Steven Ongenaet – Consultant
Steven Ongenaet is a business development and marketing consultant with over 12 years’ experience in the professional services sector. He has broad experience in the legal sector, where he has advised many leading international and independent law firms, either as external consultant or head of Marketing and BD teams.
He works on the crossroads of strategy and technology, and has extensive international experience, including in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Belgium, Sweden and The Netherlands.
His expertise includes Strategy Formulation, Strategic Marketing, PR and Communications, Client Relationship Management, and International Business Development.
Steven frequently speaks at events on legal marketing and business development.
Steven graduated with honours from Leiden University (The Netherlands), and obtained a degree in Strategic B2B Marketing from Vlerick Business School (Belgium).
Steven is based in Mexico. He speaks fluent Spanish, French, Dutch and English.
Eugenia Navarro – Consultant
