Alex Cowlishaw is a Senior Consultant.

He has worked in the legal sector since 2017, initially working for the Chambers & Partners Europe team as a senior researcher and writer. In this role he predominantly conducted in-depth research and analysis of the Nordic, Baltic and Irish legal markets, providing additional assistance in the production of numerous Chambers UK-wide and UK Bar guides. He offers a comprehensive knowledge of the legal directory process, having evaluated hundreds of submissions from market-leading firms spanning a variety of legal practice areas.

Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Derby and an MA in International Relations from the University of Exeter. Prior to his involvement in the legal sector, Alex has worked for Devon County Council, the British Council and has conducted research for an NGO established by former staff of Amnesty International.
