Gary Manning is a marketing, communications and business development
consultant.

He has over 30 years’ experience in a number of senior roles in the professional
services sector, and was the marketing and business development director for 10
years at a boutique international law firm in London.

Before this he has also held senior positions at consultancy firm
PricewaterhouseCoopers and leading City law firms Freshfields and Stephenson
Harwood, where he managed substantial teams.

Gary specialises in law firm branding, focusing on the key elements of client
communication, reputation management and thought leadership. He works with
law firms, using a variety of different content management and media distribution
tools, to develop and push key messages to achieve a strong brand profile and
market positioning that helps drive business development and increase revenue..

He also has a great deal of experience working with law firms in producing
strategic business development plans, and working closely with individual lawyers
and practice groups on practical business development activities, including
research and analysis of target markets, writing proposals, managing complex
pitches, and implementing effective client relationship management programmes.

Gary is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
